Interns are considered light part-time, averaging less than 10 hours per month. Interns are responsible for end of month closing activities for one or more small business clients. Interns will gain valuable experience in A/R & A/P, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Client needs vary, and interns will be matched accordingly based on a variety of factors.

  • Experience working in a remote environment; no set hours, only monthly deadline dates

  • Receive personalized hands-on training via teleconference or webinars

  • Discuss and apply text book concepts as you dive into real bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online

  • Explore a variety of reports and financial statements used by clients for decision making

  • Learn how to spot trends, variances and discrepancies to ensure accuracy

  • Gain experience following End of Month Close checklists and procedures

  • Perfect opportunity to gain repetitive Accounting experience and see how it all ties together to produce Financial Statements

  • Engage in monthly mentorship meetings discussing big picture accounting, operations, and leadership topics
